A while back, I entered a contest through Kraft and the Real Women of Philadelphia. What do you know – I won! Aside from a cash prize, I also won a spot in the first ever Real Women of Philadelphia Cookbook. It is a compilation of recipes submitted by women from all over Canada. I am incredibly honoured to have been included in this little gem.
You can purchase your own copy here or download a copy here. I am on page 99. And, because the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, my mother also won a place in this cookbook. Her recipe for peanut butter pie is a real show stopper. My grandmother’s marshmallow cheesecake has been modified from it’s original form, but still retains it’s original light and tangy taste.
I hope you will head on over and check it out. Try out some of the recipes and let me know what you think!
