Root Bound is the first in a series of four children’s fantasy books. It chronicles the adventures of Emma and her jazz musician father. The real adventure in Emma’s life begins when the pair move to a strange town and gain a scary neighbour, an odd school principle, and a gang of nasty schoolmates.
Emma learns that the basement brownies, who live in the ductwork of her apartment building, are searching for the Wanderer, who will help free the Crown Prince. Emma joins them on their journey to the centre of the world, where she learns that her world and the brownies are much more closely tied than she even imagined.
Root Bound is available through Amazon, Lulu, com. The eBook version can be purchased through Amazon, iTunes, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Sony ?Reader and other ebook retailers via Smashwords. Visit the Emma and the Elementals website for the most current locations.
