Part of the proceeds from these dolls go to help children in Third World Countries gain access to basic medical and education needs. The dolls come with varying skin tones, hair and eye colour. There is a story about each girl and what she is doing to help make her own community a better place. Each doll stands approximately 14” high, with moveable arms and legs. Your little girl will also receive her own bracelet to wear.
Another reason to love these dolls? They are very reasonably priced. While similar dolls range upwards of $100, these are available exclusively at Walmart for under $30. At two of my local Walmart stores, I was told I was lucky to be shopping early – these dolls are flying off the shelves.
E2 has her heart set on Nahji. Nahji is representative of a little girl from India. She comes in some very common place dress for little girls in her country, including sandals and a nose ring. I love the details in this doll, all the way down to the gold bangles on her wrist.
We had originally picked out Dell, from Louisiana, figuring her butterfly shaped necklace would be a big hit. No such luck. We are keeping this one for now, however, just in case someone changes her mind.
Lillian from Belarus is going to my eldest niece, who also happens to have white blonde hair and blue eyes.
Consuelo, from Mexico, is going to my younger niece. Her colourful bracelets are sure to be a big hit.
And now, the opportunity to win one of these wonderful dolls. Simply fill out the Rafflecopter form below to be entered. Canada only.
Disclosure: I was sent one doll for review. The other dolls we have purchased for ourselves. No other compensation was received. All opinions are my own.
