Lego Star Wars Visual Dictionary

I don’t recall exactly when the first time was that I saw Star Wars, no doubt I was young, as the first installment was released the year I was born – Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. By the time I watched the movies I recall wanting to be the super cool Han Solo and of course having a slight boyhood crush on the Princess ( I mean who didn’t??).

Over the years I watched the original trilogy several  times, watched the special edition release in theaters in 1997 and was one of the first in line to watch – Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Admittedly I was a little disappointed in Episode I with Jar Jar Binks being all digital – it just wasn’t the same.

I am hopeful that the upcoming Episode VII will be a much better installment as I usually love movies that involve the work of  J. J. Abrams. Ever since the Mama and I where hooked on the TV Series Alias and than of course one of my personal favs LOST I have been a big fan of J. J. – I am not usually the type to follow big Hollywood names, but in this case I have Smile.  This gives me great hope that when Episode VII is released I can take E1 and E2 to the theater to help pass on my enjoyment of the Star Wars franchise.

Thankfully, I do not have to wait until Dec. 18th, 2015 to start the brain washing (err process). You see Mama recently received a special addition Lego Star Wars Visual Dictionary from DK Canada just in time for MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU and E1 LOVES it! DK Canada has a history of producing fantastic and colourful Star Wars books so it’s no surprise that this one is also wonderful – large full sizes images with details keep E1’s interest for extended periods of time (no small feat for an 8 year old boy – squirrel!).

Check out some pictures below of E1 reading this great book and be sure to check out DKs Star Wars Boutique, where, for a limited time, a fantastic selection of Star Wars books are on sale. Oh and do not stop here – keep scrolling to the bottom for a chance to win your own copy of this excellent book.
