I Don’t Have Time To Do Laundry Twice #OxiCleanChallenge

Disclosure: I have partnered with YMC and OxiClean and have received compensation for this post. All opinions in the post are my own.
There are two things that I generally hate doing more than once: reading a book and doing laundry. Everyone’s time is at a premium – why repeat things you don’t have to? With the right tools, I get laundry done the first time. OxiClean™ Pre-Treaters and in-wash solutions get the job done every time.

On average, I do laundry 4 times a week. Yes, you read that right. Generally, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday to be exact. There are anywhere from 2-4 loads each time. That definitely adds up. I don’t have the time (and seriously lack the patience) to re-wash anything.
In the Land Before Children, laundry was pretty simple. Aside from the odd coffee stain and some ring around the collar, neither Goose or I really got that dirty. We lived in a 2 bedroom apartment. We both had desk jobs. All things, including laundry, were pretty simple.
And then came the mess makers children. Talk about your game changer. Laundry was no longer a quick Saturday morning routine. Washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes now occupied far more of my time than I really wanted to think about.
So, what’s the secret to spending a minimum amount of time doing laundry? Using OxiClean Stain Remover Powder in every load is a given. For all the little marks and scuffs, not to mention overall brightness, nothing does it better. As a side note, one of my cousins and I compare notes on who has stocked up most during the last sale. We totally live on the wild side out here, I know.

For the grease stains that would otherwise force good clothes to move to the play clothes pile, OxiClean MaxForce Foam Pre-Treater. These stains are sneaky and usually require me to hold the offending piece of clothing up to a light source. If I do miss a stain, the Foam Pre-Treater will still get the grease out the next time through the wash.
And what about those pieces of clothing that somehow miss getting into the hamper for a while? I swear that sometimes, my kids are putting on some sort of strip tease or something upstairs. I find their clothing in the weirdest places. And you know the stains that nobody has any idea how they got there? Those lost pieces of clothing are 10X more likely to have those stains on them.  The OxiClean MaxForce Spray works fantastically well on set-in grass and dirt stains.
Now, before you shake your head and roll your eyes at keeping so many different stain cleaners in your arsenal, hear me out. Not using them is likely to result in needing to replace clothing far more often. A couple of extra bottles in the cupboard is definitely worth avoiding replacing my kids clothes quite so often. Keep an eye on the OxiClean Facebook page for product updates and news.
