Slice strawberries and add all ingredients to a heavy bottom pan
Bring to a boil over medium heat. Allow to cook approximately 5 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Once cool, remove tea bags and use an immersion blender to thoroughly emulsify the mixture
Strain (if desired). Pour into air tight container and store in fridge for up to a week.
To serve, divide between 6-8 glasses and top with ginger ale or club soda
